Telephone Support:
Is delivered by telephone from the
Victim Services, Hastings,
Prince Edward and Lennox & Addington Counties
offices or from on duty volunteers. Telephone contact is
initiated, if requested by victim or police due to an unsafe
situation. Emotional support, practical assistance, referrals
and follow up as above in On Scene Support section.

Community Support:
This aspect of our service is delivered at the request of
emergency
services
in their delivery of community activities or following an
incident that involves victims.

Education:
These
sessions are delivered in group format. Sessions may include
information about crime, safety tips, community resources,
etc. |

SupportLink:
Supportlink - Wireless Phone
Program provided by
Ministry
of the Attorney General,
Rogers AT+T Wireless,
and
Ericsson Canada
to victims at high risk of domestic violence,
sexual assault and criminal harassment\stalking. Cell phones
are preprogrammed to 911 and are on loan at no cost to the
victim. Safety planning is mandatory. |

Planning:
Extensive and
comprehensive safety planning creating a safer environment at
home, work, while traveling in the community and safety tips
for children. This includes tips for emotional safety
planning, preparing to leave an abusive relationship, during a
violent incident, etc. |
